I will be leaving in 6-7 months, and already, I'm a bit nostalgic. Time FLIES.
It is quite cool to think that I will have a considerable amount of time totally FREE to do whatever. How many chances does one get to do that? If I have the finances, I would love to travel a bit more before I settle down again. I've been narrowing my list of "must-visit places". If I had the time and finances, I would love to trek to every continent, every country, every corner of the world, but one must be realistic. So here are some of the places I'd like to visit sometime in my life:
The rest of the 'stans - Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan
Turkey
Iran
Russia
China
Vietnam
Iceland
Banff (Canada)
Grand Canyon
Maine
Northern Japan (Hokkaido)
Upper Peninsula (Michigan)
Wyoming
Montana
N.Korea
Prince Edward Island
There are oh so many other places, but these places immediately come to mind for various reasons.
Anyone else wanting to visit these places and want to go with me?
Edit: I forgot about these places as well!
India
Cuba
Dominican Republic
Puerto Rico
Ireland

"Operation Koh Samui"
next time we have a re-union in MI we should make a trip to the U P!
wish I could go to Iran and Hokkaido with you..
Add CO to your list! I'd love to visit Turkey, Russia, Vietnam and Prince Edward Island...*sigh*
P.S. Where are you going to be in 6-7 months? Back to NYC?
i call all the US States, since that's about all I can afford. Derek's parents invited me to go to Montana with them this Thanksgiving, but the tickets are way too expensive. They have a farm out there -- you should come with us when we go!
